Former Miss Uganda 2013, Stella Nantumbwe, popularly known as Ellah, has found herself at the center of fresh controversy following reports of her alleged separation from husband Saidi Bukenya.
The latest twist emerged in a circulating video in which Presidential Advisor on Anti-Corruption and Head of the State House Investors Protection Unit, Col. Edith Nakalema, publicly called on Ellah and her mother to return property allegedly belonging to her ex-husband.
According to Col. Nakalema, Ellah reportedly moved out of her matrimonial home with all of her former husband’s belongings after their relationship came to an end. The senior government official urged both Ellah and her mother to return the items, a statement that has since sparked widespread discussion on social media.
The allegations come barely a month after reports surfaced suggesting that the former beauty queen had parted ways with Saidi just three months after their lavish wedding in 2025.
Neither Ellah nor her ex-husband has publicly addressed the latest claims.
Ellah rose to national fame after winning the Miss Uganda crown in 2013 at the age of 22. Since then, she has built a career as an actress, media personality, and pageant coach, remaining a recognizable figure in Uganda’s entertainment industry.
As the allegations continue to circulate online, many social media users are calling for Ellah to break her silence and share her side of the story.
