Media commentator and politician Miles Rwamiti has stirred fresh debate on social media after sharing his blunt opinion about Ugandan socialite and businesswoman Zari Hassan’s approach to relationships.
Speaking on the Sanyuka TV’s Vvawo Mpitewo talk show, Rwamiti claimed that Zari only remains in relationships that add value to her life and is never afraid to walk away when she feels a relationship no longer serves her interests.
According to Rwamiti, the South Africa-based reality TV star has always been calculated in matters of love, choosing partners and maintaining relationships that align with her personal ambitions, lifestyle, and long-term goals.

“Zari does not stay where she sees no value. If a relationship is no longer benefiting her life, she moves on,” Rwamiti said during the discussion.
His remarks come at a time when reports of Zari’s breakup with husband Shakib Lutaaya continue to dominate entertainment headlines. News of the couple’s separation emerged around June 12, 2026, ending what had appeared to be a five-year relationship.
During the show, panelists revisited several of Zari’s past and recent relationships, highlighting how her love life has remained a subject of public fascination for years.
Zari Hassan, one of East Africa’s most influential celebrities, has built a powerful brand through her business ventures, reality television appearances, and strong social media presence. However, her high-profile relationships have often attracted just as much attention as her entrepreneurial success.
Rwamiti’s comments have since generated mixed reactions, with some viewers agreeing that Zari prioritizes her personal growth and happiness, while others argue that the claims unfairly simplify her relationship history.
As the debate continues online, one question remains: Is Zari simply making practical choices, or is Rwamiti’s assessment an oversimplification of a much more complex personal life?
