8. Cheburashka 2. This is good for families with children. A Russian action animation movie, Cheburashka is a sequel of Cheburashka released in 2023. You are a family person, need something to entertain you or your children, look no further – Cheburashka 2.
7. Primate. Released in the United States in January, Primate is another movie worthy watching. Having received mixed reviews from critics, the natural horror movie has so far grossed $40 Million on box office against the budget of $21-24 Million.
6. Wrecking Crew. Starring Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista, Wrecking Crew is a block buster fun action movie. The movie is distributed by Amazon MGM studios via their Over-the-Top streaming site Amazon Prime.
5.Queen of Chess. This is a Netflix documentary film exploring the amazing career and life of Hungarian chess Grand Master Judit Polgar. I can confidently say that this the best documentary we have had this year. The movie is inspiring.
4. People We Meet on Vacation. Released on Netflix in January 2026, People We Meet on Vacation is a romantic comedy starring Emily Bader and Tom Blyth. The movie received generally positive reviews.
3. The R.I.P. This is an action-detective movie inspired by a true story of Police Captain Chris Casiano. Thrilling and interesting, the movie stars Matt Damon and Ben Affleck also has Scott Adkins. If you love action movies, this a movie you should put on your must-watch list.
2. Crime 101. Another Chris Hemsworth movie, Crime 101 is a crime thriller distributed by Amazon MGM and Sony Pictures, the movie is a one to watch in 2026. A heist movie, it has a budget of $90 Million. It is both thrilling and entertaining.
1. 28 years later: The Bone Temple. This the 4th instalment in the 28 years later franchise following the 28 days later, 28 weeks later and 28 years later. It is a horror-zombie-post apocalyptic movie starring Ralph Fiennes, Jack O’Connell, Alfie Williams, Erin Kellyman and Chi Lewis-Parry.
The film has received positive reviews from critics with an average rating 7.7/10 on Rotten tomatoes.
