The President of the Council of Ugandans in South Africa (COUSA), Mr. Moses Kibombo, together with members of the COUSA leadership and representatives of Ugandan communities across South Africa, met with the Rt. Hon. Jacob Oboth Oboth, Speaker of the Parliament of Uganda, and Uganda’s High Commissioner to South Africa, H.E. Amb. Paul Amoru.

The meeting focused on the welfare, safety, and security of Ugandans living in South Africa amid rising concerns following recent attacks on foreign nationals and increasing anxiety within migrant communities.

Discussions also examined a detailed report submitted by the Uganda High Commission to Kampala, which included recommendations aimed at addressing the emerging challenges.
